In Thailand, people like crispy outside and soft inside so it has mind smell but you can not cut open as ripe durian, it is much more difficult, took me at least 30-45 minute for 1 fruit. Some of my fingers would be missing if I was him.

If im not mistaken,these type of durian only available in thailand.. They call it monthong.. The taste very soft,melt in mouth.. Like durian creep.. The outside shell is soft,not like others country including mine too.

There s an Asian supermarket by me that has them, although it s frozen. I think that ll be the case anywhere where it can t be cultivated, since it doesn t transport well fresh over great distances. From what I ve read and heard, there s a colossal difference between fresh and frozen (things I ve heard from fans of the fruit that said they were disappointed or disgusted with the frozen kind when abroad). Our experience is going to be wildly different from people that can get it fresh, unless we re able to travel to places it can be grown. I ve tried it frozen myself and it s pretty bizarre. I ve read people get all sorts of creamy, fruity, and sweet tastes from the durian while it smells all kinds of awful. Mine smelled like a foot and tasted like coleslaw.

Looking those fruits looks beautiful and unique. I smelled it once but I never tried it. The smell was so strong that could lead me to a strong migraine reaction and head inflammation. The only fruit that is banned from all commercial flights and public transportation.

@Irty Hot sauce iya saya tau kalo mau dapat gelar harus melalui beberapa syarat, cuman mungkin untuk durian di kampung saya entah kenapa sangat tidak dihargai, pernah dulu maen ke Jakarta saya liat durian pinggiran jalan kaki lima itu iseng tanya dan beli 2 buah durian, 1 durian berukuran sedang dihargai 75k, wah dalam hati pasti ini durian nya enak, langsung dibuka dan makan di tempat alhasil durian masih mentah kok bisa2 nya dijual 75k perbuah nya, dlm hati pasti ini durian dipetik dari pohonnya, bukan nunggu durian jatuh dgn sendirinya

@Ora Nam yeah of course, I can see from the start of the way they choose durian.. I have 100 durian trees, the way they pounding the durian is make sure the ripeness.. In my farm, we never pounding the durian cause we let them fall from the tree.. Sorry to say, the size of durian on this video is too small from my standard.
