It is a standalone expansion to Uncharted 4, and the first Uncharted game not to feature protagonist Nathan Drake. Players instead control treasure hunter and Nathan`s old friend, former love interest and associate Chloe Frazer, who seeks the Tusk of Ganesh in the Western Ghats mountain ranges of India in the midst of a civil war, with the help of ex-mercenary Nadine Ross and Nathan`s brother Samuel Drake all the while coming into conflict with Asav, a ruthless warlord and his army of insurgents. Like other Uncharted games, Lost Legacy is played from a third-person perspective; players use firearms, and can use melee combat and stealth to defend against enemies. Players solve puzzles, incorporating several platformer elements to advance the narrative, and navigate the game world on foot or by vehicle. Development of The Lost Legacy began soon after the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief`s End in May 2016. It builds upon gameplay elements established in previous Uncharted titles with its more open-ended gameplay. Chloe, a supporting character who first appeared in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is the focus of the game, with the story, design and gameplay elements reflecting her character. i get that making games is insanely hard and expensive, but i feel like graphics have been stagnating since 2013 (Crysis 3). I just finished playing the Witcher 3 and graphics are still stellar. Might sound crazy but i loved the style and simplicity of PS3 / Xbox 360 era. Like the look of Last of Us or Halo 4 / Gears 2-3. I much prefer more time spent making a better game then more time lost on improving graphics slightly. Zelda Breath of the Wild is a prime example of this.

I m assuming they were trying to give you the story, graphics, and a viewable experience regardless of their skill level. You watched... so they hit the only mark that matters on Youtube. Right? The audience is impatient and awful, unfortunately, and therefore dictates this sort of play thru. I ve already played this game and found my self riveted because this game is so effing gorgeous and the voice acting/chemistry so pitch perfect. This says a lot considering I m usually not so engaged with just watching someone play. This game might be worth playing exclusively for the water effects and it hits on so many other levels...

@jase276 The lead writer left during *Uncharted 4,* which was revamped around the new writers. Also, a year later, *Uncharted Lost Legacy* came out, which was also a great success! Besides, it s not like the old days when only one person writes an entire game or movie script. Nowadays, it s an accumulation of talent - a team of writers. Business-wise, it s genius, because the people that s been working with the main writer have already tapped into the person s electron patterns, and thought process on, I think she would ve done it like this, and the show goes on. In other words, the collaboration, and team, fill in the missing pieces to which there isn t much change to the game or movie. At any rate, my gaming hunger for both Uncharted games was satiated!
